Questions
Everything people want to know before booking a demo
Do my customers have to download an app?
No, and that is deliberate. Scanning your QR code opens a member card in the phone's browser. They can save it to their wallet in one tap if they want to, but there is no app store, no account to create and no password to forget. Every download you ask for costs you sign-ups at the counter.
How long does setup actually take?
Most venues are taking sign-ups the same morning. You name your rewards, choose how points are earned, and print the code. There is nothing to migrate and nothing to install. If you have an existing customer list, we will import it for you before you go live at no extra cost.
What hardware do I need to buy?
None. Staff scanning runs in a browser on whatever you already have, whether that is the till tablet, a spare phone by the pass, or a laptop in the office. If your tablet cannot scan, customers scan a printed code on the counter instead and it works the same way.
Does it work with my point of sale?
Square, Toast and Lightspeed connect directly on Greenhouse and Orchard, which lets points post from the transaction without a second scan. Everything else runs happily alongside your till without any connection at all, because scanning is a separate step that never blocks a payment.
How do points and rewards actually work?
You decide both. Set points per dollar spent or a flat number per visit, then build a reward ladder on top: a free coffee at 80 points, twenty percent off brunch at 200, whatever fits your margins. You can add bonus rules for slow hours, expire points after a period you choose, or change the whole ladder on a Monday morning without telling anyone.
Who owns the customer data?
You do. Consent is collected in plain language at sign-up and stored with a timestamp, which is what keeps you covered under GDPR and CCPA. You can export the full list as a CSV whenever you like, including on the day you leave. We do not sell it, share it, or market to your customers on our own behalf.
Can I run it across more than one location?
Yes. Sprout and Greenhouse are priced per location, so a second site is simply a second subscription. Orchard covers every room you run for one price and adds shared point balances, group reporting and staff roles. Customers can carry one balance across all your venues, or keep separate balances per site if that suits the business better.
Is there a contract or a setup fee?
Neither. There is no setup fee on any plan and no minimum term, so you can cancel at the end of any month and keep your exported customer list. Paying annually knocks roughly eighteen percent off the monthly rate, but it is an option rather than a requirement.
Still stuck
Ask us the awkward one
We reply to every demo request within one working day. Support runs Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm, because that is when kitchens are open.
Ready to see it running in your venue?
A twenty minute walkthrough on your own menu and margins. No slide deck, no pressure, and we will tell you plainly if loyalty is not worth it for your room.
